A wellestablished real estate and construction company based in Quezon City is looking for a Senior Legal Officer who will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance contract management and regulatory affairs. Reporting directly to the Corporate Legal Department Head the ideal candidate must have a solid legal background and a proactive solutionsoriented mindset to support the company’s diverse business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee contract compliance across operations and support divisions in coordination with relevant departments.
- Handle eviction cases including preparatory work and case filings.
- Perform notarization contract drafting and document review.
- Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and internal standards.
- Draft legal documents such as demand letters Secretary’s Certificates and pleadings.
- Conduct legal due diligence and legal research for daytoday business needs.
- Represent the company in hearings and coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.
- Review outputs of junior legal officers and provide guidance.
- Support other legal and regulatory matters as required by the Head or the Office of the Chairman.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws Degree and be a Philippine Bar passer.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting.
- Strong legal writing analytical and contract review skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
