Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity Analysis:
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings specifications and project documents.
- Analyze project blueprints to calculate material quantities labor and costs.
- Conduct cost estimation and assist with project budgeting.
- Perform detailed quantity verification and reconciliation during the phase.
- Maintain a record of quantities and material requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Purchasing and Procurement:
- Manage the procurement process for materials for contracts.
- Place and track purchase orders ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the right materials are available for projects on time.
- AutoCAD Design & Drafting:
- Utilize AutoCAD to create modify and review construction drawings layouts and designs.
- Prepare asbuilt drawings and update project plans in coordination with the engineering team.
- Ensure design compliance with relevant codes standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to incorporate necessary design changes.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of quantities purchase orders and materials for each project.
- Generate and update reports purchase order tracking sheets and project status updates.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the timely completion of project milestones.
- Ensure that all documents related to procurement and quantity analysis are organized and accessible for audit purposes.
- Cost Control:
- Assist in cost tracking and controlling project budgets by ensuring quantities are estimated correctly and procurement is done costeffectively.
- Support in identifying costsaving opportunities in procurement and material handling.
