Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Key vaults App services SQL databases and networking components.
- Performed regular backups and implement disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources.
- Administered Entra ID managed users groups and roles for seamless identity and access management (IAM)
- Provisioned configured and monitored Azure virtual machines storage accounts
- Integrate applications with Azure databases storage and other services
Networking concepts
- Implemented Azure Virtual Networks and Subnets managing network security groups for secure communication.
- Configured Azure Load Balancer and Traffic Manager to optimize traffic distribution
- Implemented network security groups (NSGs) and Azure Firewall
Security
- Designed and implemented security solutions for Azure resources.
- Monitored and responded to security threats and incidents in Azure.
- Implemented security best practices and compliance standards.
- Enhanced cloud environment security by using Azure Security Centre and perform vulnerability assessments.
Monitoring
- Monitored and optimized application performance in Azure using Application Insights
- Developed a custom monitoring solution using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics
- Automated security monitoring and alerting using Azure Sentinel
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure

- Backup and Disaster Recovery
Desirable skills
- Containerization with Kubernetes

- Scripting Languages (PowerShell Python)
- Azure Certification: AZ900 AZ104 will be an added advantage
