Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with product managers product owners and technical team to develop test strategies and test plans
- Strong understanding of manual testing practices to support developing manual test scripts test cases and/or test scenarios
- Assist with planning and creating test data as it relates to each test phase
- Executes quality assurance and testing activities for various types of testing such as integration testing functional testing regression testing unit testing load testing performance testing and accessibility testing
- Plans and organizes testing efforts in both frontend and backend application components/environments
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional regression and integration testing
- Use automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium Appium or similar to create robust and reusable test scripts.
- Communicate test results regularly through reports that summarize test completion and defects found
- Help with the implementation of the project technical testing strategy and methodology. This includes testing of integration points and interfaces and nonfunctional requirements (e.g. failover component response times data integrity security)
- Evaluate test results against acceptance criteria to determine successful completion of the sprint increment
- Defines and measures acceptance criteria for test cases
- Record all defects/issues in the Cluster s defect reporting tool (Jira) including detailed descriptions screenshots and steps to reproduce
- Participate in elicitation and business requirement workshop sessions sprint reviews and/or walkthrough meetings
- Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile / iterative solution development lifecycle
- Conducts postrelease / postimplementation testing
- Supports clients with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
- Creates traceability matrix to ensure testing outcomes align with business requirements
- Coordinate and facilitate regular defect review meetings with Business Analysts and Business stakeholders
- Provide testing and defect status updates in daily scrum standups team meetings as required
- Provide weekly report confirming status of assigned tasks
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Must Haves:
- Demonstrated 10 years experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in nTiered Data Centre Networks and TierIV Data Centre environments.
Nice to Have:
- Prior OPS experience
Skill Set Requirements:
In depth knowledge of Data Centre Networks (DCN) Infrastructure Technology and Architecture:
- Demonstrated 10 years experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in nTiered Data Centre Networks and TierIV Data Centre environments.
Experience deploying new complex DCN Technologies in a TierIV Certified Data Centre:
- 10 years preparing/developing and executing implementation and cutover plans for modernized Data Centre Network gear such as routers switches firewalls and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Fabric environments related to complex Enterprise Data Centre Networks hosted in a certified TierIV Data Centre.
Understanding of DCN service strategies and provider models as well as SysTrust and PCI compliancy:
- 8 years experience evaluating analyzing and developing Data Centre Network strategies and models and working in environments that are subject to annual SysTrust and PCI audits.
Experience analyzing and evaluating service delivery models for DCN:
- 8 years conducting business analysis related to Data Centre service delivery and evaluating service delivery models for next generation services such as Hybrid Cloud; onpremis private and offpremis public cloud IaaS SaaS and PaaS.
