IT Delivery Lead Multiple Projects 9 months Brussels
Our important client is currently looking for an IT Delivery Lead Multiple Projects for a 9month contract in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable
We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Lead to strengthen our Portfolio and Program Delivery team. You will take over the portfolio of a current team member transitioning to a new role and immediately contribute to several ongoing initiatives.
As IT Delivery Lead you will drive a variety of IT and IT/business projects across different business domains ensuring delivery within time scope and budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Business Owners Business Project Managers (BPMs) Transformation Office members IT Architects and external vendors.
This is a handson project delivery role not a people management one you ll coordinate crossfunctional teams across several small to midsized initiatives in parallel.
What You ll Do
Manage the delivery of multiple parallel projects (typically 7 with varying scopes and time investments 10 20 of your time each)
Ensure project aligns with objectives in terms of timeline budget quality and methodology
Define and monitor project planning resource allocation and key deliverables
Coordinate project contributors and ensure smooth collaboration across business and IT stakeholders
Report progress and risks to the Portfolio Manager and project sponsors
Contribute to governance challenge gaps and ensure delivery quality especially where project management maturity varies
Adapt to different methodologies (waterfall agile hybrid) based on project nature and business preference
Who You ll Work With
Report to the Portfolio Manager and indirectly to the Head of Portfolio and Program Delivery
Collaborate with fellow IT Delivery Leads as part of one cohesive team
Interface regularly with Business Project Managers the Transformation Office IT
Architects and Business Sponsors
Note: Business Project Managers often come from diverse backgrounds; ensuring delivery consistency may require proactive alignment and support.
What You Bring
Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects (typically 5 8
Ability to work independently and deliver structured followup in complex stakeholder environments
Strong communication and coordination skills across IT and business functions
Experience with different project management methodologies and adaptability to various delivery models
Familiarity with project tools: JIRA Power BI MS Office
Fluent in English with passive understanding of French and Dutch
