Job Description
- Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager
- The ideal candidate will be able to successfully and safely operate all dock equipment pertinent to the position.
- Duties to including the loading and unloading of all variations of freight
- Checking manifests and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments.
- Assist with the cleanup in and around the terminal
- Perform routine dock checks
- Assist customers in picking up/dropping freight.
- Book Seaspan Barge trailers
- Create linehaul manifests
Qualifications :
- Must have previous experience working in a warehouse or cross dock setting.
- Must have experience operating forklifts utilizing dollies pallet jacks hydraulic/electric.
- Must possess good organizational skills.
