The successful applicant will work alongside clinicians variant curators and biologists to realise the strategic objectives of the Precision Medicine Initiative by facilitating and participating in the MTB Programme. Specifically the Senior Lecturer Molecular Medical Oncology will help develop and run a multidisciplinary MTB that converts somatic variants (and occasionally germline variants) into treatment decisions for people with cancer in Auckland. This role could be coupled with a clinical position at Te Whatu Ora Tamaki Makaurau Auckland depending on availability.

This is a fixed term 12 months) parttime 0.1FTE 8 hours per week) position. Salary range for this role is $120742 $138721 pro rata 40 hours per week full time equivalent) depending on skills and experience. Medical loading may be applied if currently practicing.
Qualifications :
Essential:
MBChB or equivalent
Preferred:
Completed or considering a postgraduate qualification e.g. PhD MD MSc
