UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a passionate and accomplished Hematologist at the Associate Professor level or above to join our Division of Hematology and Oncology with a clinical and academic focus on Acute Leukemia and Myeloid Malignancies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding Leukemia Program within a top-tier NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care at both Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital participate in cutting-edge clinical trials and translational research and play a key role in educating the next generation of clinicians. Ideal applicants will bring expertise in leukemia and related hematologic malignancies a strong track record in academic medicine and a commitment to improving outcomes for patients facing complex blood cancers.
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an LCME-accredited medical school (or international equivalent)
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and/or Oncology
Board certification in Internal Medicine; board certification in Hematology strongly preferred
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
Demonstrated expertise in the care of patients with acute leukemia and myeloid malignancies
A strong academic record with experience in clinical or translational research
Experience working in a safety-net hospital is preferred
