Job Description

Our client a fastgrowing bank in Vietnam is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.


  • Design and implement the bank s credit risk management strategy ensuring alignment with longterm business goals.

  • Establish robust credit policies underwriting standards and approval frameworks for corporate commercial and retail portfolios.

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt credit strategies proactively.

  • Oversee the assessment of creditworthiness for highvalue clients and complex transactions.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies including collateral evaluation stress testing and diversification of credit exposure.

  • Optimize the riskreward balance by refining credit limits pricing models and repayment structures.

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of credit analysts underwriters and recovery specialists.

  • Establish KPIs for credit operations and ensure adherence to performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve escalated credit issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare executivelevel reports on portfolio health risk concentrations and emerging trends for the Board and regulators.

  • Liaise with external auditors and credit rating agencies to validate risk management practices.

  • Leverage advanced analytics and AIdriven tools to enhance credit decisioning accuracy and efficiency.

  • Streamline workflows for credit applications approvals and monitoring to reduce turnaround time.



Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics.

  • 12 years in banking credit management including 5 years in senior leadership roles.

  • Expertise in credit risk modeling loan loss provisioning and regulatory capital frameworks.

  • Proficiency in credit risk software and data visualization tools.

  • Track record of building teams and managing portfolios.

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
