Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems the ability to read and interpret schematics and proficiency in pipe threading and assembly. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system requirements.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks with precision.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installation efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction and maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Ability to plumb systems accurately and efficiently.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
