A dynamic and clientfocused law firm is seeking a Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm specializes in civil defense litigation with practice areas that include insurance defense construction law employment law and bodily injury defense. Position Overview:
The firm is looking for a skilled Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Insurance Defense
- Construction Litigation
- Employment Law
- Bodily Injury Defense
This position offers the flexibility of remote work competitive compensation and the opportunity to handle complex and impactful cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in court hearings depositions mediations and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court personnel.
- Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense construction employment law or bodily injury defense.
- Strong legal research writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
