Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Charlottesville VA. This is a fulltime onsite role with a competitive salary range of $100000$120000. If you have a passion for designing and optimizing electrical systems this opportunity is for you.

In this role you will design and develop power distribution systems for industrial and manufacturing facilities typically working with systems of 1000V or less. Your work will ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical infrastructure directly impacting the success of diverse projects. Key responsibilities include designing high and lowvoltage systems performing load flow and shortcircuit analyses preparing detailed design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will also collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams oversee project timelines and budgets and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

To excel in this role you will need a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABETaccredited institution and 510 years of relevant experience. A Professional Engineer (P.E. license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one within three months is required. Proficiency in system modeling software (e.g. ETAP SKM AGI) AutoCAD REVIT and Microsoft Office is essential. Familiarity with electrical codes such as NEC/NFPA 70 and NESC/IEEE is also required. Prior consulting or construction experience is a plus.

This role involves working in industrial and manufacturing environments which may require climbing stairs ladders and navigating congested or elevated spaces. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
