Job Description
The Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing and designing solutions to improve an organizations computer systems. This involves identifying system requirements ensuring that the system meets business goals troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements for overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Computer Systems: Evaluate current computer systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure they align with organizational needs.
Design and Implement Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement efficient systems or software solutions that improve business processes.
Gather Requirements: Work with business units to gather and document technical and business requirements.
Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware software or networks to ensure system performance.
Test Systems: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet business requirements and are free from defects.
Train Users: Provide training to users on how to effectively use new systems or software.
Monitor System Performance: Continuously monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to address inefficiencies or system failures.
Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including system specifications user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
Stay Updated: Keep current with technological advancements and industry trends to ensure systems are optimized and secure.
