Job Description

Senior Support Worker:

Diverse Talent Partners Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Maidstone Kent UK. As a Senior Support Worker you will play a crucial role in providing highquality support and care to our clients who may have a range of complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to clients including personal care medication administration and daily living tasks

Lead and supervise a team of support workers providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of personcentred care

Conduct regular assessments and develop care plans for clients ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met

Liaise with external agencies and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients

Monitor and review the effectiveness of care plans making necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Maintain accurate and uptodate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures

Promote and maintain a safe and positive working environment for both staff and clients

Participate in staff meetings training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Support the management team in the daytoday operations of the service including rota management budget management and compliance with regulatory standards

Act as a role model for the support team demonstrating professionalism empathy and a personcentred approach at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferably in a residential or supported living setting

Experience working with individuals with complex needs including learning disabilities mental health conditions and challenging behaviours

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients families and colleagues

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations including OFSTED standards

Flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fastpaced environment.
