Job Description
Our client a respected secondary school in Walsall is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team starting this Easter. This History Teacher role provides an excellent opportunity to inspire students at Key Stages 3 4 and 5. For the right candidate there is potential to take on a TLR and further contribute to the departments development.
Main Duties:
- Teach engaging and thoughtprovoking lessons in History to a range of abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to innovate and enhance the History curriculum.
- Foster students understanding and appreciation of historical events and themes.
- Take part in extracurricular activities that enrich the historical perspective for students.
TLR Opportunities:
For experienced History Teachers the school offers TLR roles which could involve leading a key stage managing initiatives within the History department or supporting crosscurricular projects.
