The role
As a Senior Software Engineer on our team you will focus on delivering highquality work and be an effective communicator skilled at connecting with stakeholders across the business. We value your fresh ideas and perspectives to help us grow as a team and enhance our product driving us all to achieve greater success together.
The team:
Youll be joining a small but very skilled team of around 15 people across Engineering Data Science and QA. Were always learning and trying out new processes and tools. We keep things open and honest with a feedbackfriendly culture where new ideas really take off.
What leads to success:
5 years of experienceworking as a fullstack web developer you have mastered quite afew different technologies and stacks over the years and you are not intimidated by code that waswritten by someone else.
Expertise in relational databases enables you to handle complex SQL queries with ease.
Strong level of expertise with TypeScript or Python and willingness to master both.
Handson experience working with cloudnative applications.
Agrowth mindset that prompts you to continuouslylook for opportunities to learn and improve things.
Being qualitydriven and committed to building robust maintainable and highperformance code.
Being a holistic thinker witha clear focus on the bigger picture when it comes to the software itself and the customer needs.
Your tasks:
We believe in setting clear objectives. Here are our expectations for your first 6 months as a Senior Software Engineer:
After Week 1:
You are on board with the technical solution and start contributing to the Cambris application code base.
After 3 months:
You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the companys business domain and how it applies to the Cambris application.
After 6 months:
You are effective at defining and communicating with your colleagues and business stakeholders on technical and business requirements. Together with your team you can effectively plan and implement an incremental update to the application functionality.
