Job Description
Albert Roger Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead and manage our operational teams through a period of exciting growth. You will be responsible for driving efficiency profitability and service excellence across Merchandising Customer Service and Logistics with our 3PL partners across Europe. A key part of this role involves team leadership performance management and fostering a highperforming culture.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a logistics strategy for European physical & online orders.
- Streamline and standardise operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Manage all inbound and outbound orders ensuring seamless coordination with warehouses and retailers.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee stock management ensuring alignment with ERP systems for optimal inventory control.
- Lead the rollout of brands across stores in Europe ensuring operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with CAPEX requirements and budget tracking for merchandising.
- Develop recovery plans and strategic action plans to meet annual targets.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead motivate and develop teams across Merchandising Customer Service Logistics and 3PL partnerships.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture driving accountability and excellence.
- Coach and mentor team members supporting their professional growth and skill development.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams ensuring seamless communication and operational alignment.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback implementing improvement plans where necessary.
Key Deliverables
- Accurate reporting Invoicing stock service level and logistics costs analysis
- CAPEX Expenditure Tracking
- Action Planning to achieve targets to YearEnd with delivery success KPI
- Organisational development with targets objectives and career pathways
Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in operations management particularly in logistics supply chain or planning within a Retail or FMCG organisation with a high SKU count.
- Experience managing 3PL providers across multiple European countries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Customerfocused proactive and solutionsdriven approach to operational challenges.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing stock management and forecasting.
- Advanced IT skills particularly in Excel and ERP system development.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with strategic planning capabilities to drive operational excellence.
- Strong communication skills able to engage effectively across multiple countries and organisational levels.
