- Design and develop applicationoriented training programs for food handlers.
- Train food handlers in collaboration with departmental heads/process owners to enhance their overall competence.
- Provide technical guidance on relevant food safety concerns and suggest process improvements.
- Organize lab testing based on defined requirement and interpret results to facilitate implementation of corrective actions and communicate the same.
- Upgrade product safety by adopting more stringent specifications based on internationally recognized standards/best industry practices.
- Conduct periodic hygiene audits/inspections and perform spot checks as necessary.
- Conduct supplier audits assist in supplier approval and monitor supplier performance.
- Coordinate the drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by various departments when required.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in food safety and hygiene matters including legal requirements.
- Ensure timely communication of HACCP and legal requirements to the concerned staff and management.
Monitor the effectiveness of the HACCPbased food safety system by consolidating food safety data customer complaints etc. and communicate the findings to management and relevant Heads of Departments (HODs).
