We are looking for a new Analyst to join our buyside team in Madrid.
Tasks
- Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
- Conduct thorough research on selected target companies including financial strategic and competitor analysis
- Analysis preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles market and sector reports information memorandums and transaction documentation
- Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
- Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
- Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and
- Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
- A highly effective team player and motivated selfstarter with excellent communication skills tenacity and strong market research abilities
- Excellent interpersonal presentational adaptability and time management skills
- Holds strong academic qualifications including a completed university degree in Economics Finance Accounting Business or a science field with a financial focus
- Previous experience with transaction exposure in Corporate Finance M&A Transaction Services Consulting or Private Equity; operational or inhouse experience is also considered
- First professional experience or relevant internships
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
