Job Description

The ARM GROUP is hiring Product Claims Manager/Key Account Representative for an industryleading client.

Location: Charlotte NC Atlanta GA or Barnwell NC

Purpose of the Job: The Product Claims Manager performs intake processing required inspection and negotiations case closure and credit entry functions for post sales warranty claims. The Key Account Manager manages daily processing of orders and ensures internal and external customer expectations are met.

General Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates proficiency using datainput systems and applying computer applications such as databases ERP system transportation portals browsers and phone systems.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations to meet company and customer requirements.
  • Builds relationships with Key account buyers customer claims managers logistics groups internal departments and sales teams.

Claims Manager Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee all customer warranty sales claim processes
  • Process and/or review all high threshold customer claims and follow up as needed
  • Maintain database integrity of claim records
  • Regularly report warranty claims information to management
  • Initiate/authorize claims inspections for high threshold claims. Includes follow up with the customer with finalized reports and settlement.
  • Review all inspection reports and send/authorize written determination to customer.
  • Review and negotiate claim approvals to insure that material costs and diagnosis are equitable and within the established guidelines and standards.

Key Account Representative Responsibilities:

  • Process and release new orders.
  • Timely communication of inventory outages and delayed or extended lead times.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment of production to ensure timely delivery
  • Tracks orders and shipments daily to ensure flow to customer
  • Tracks and monitors late pickups invoicing and deliveries to provide feedback to customers and internal departments
  • Manages order flow through SAP inventory system and customer portals

Professional Experience:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous customer service or sales experience with direct written and verbal communication.
  • Flooring construction interiors industry experience are beneficial.

Education and Technical Skills Profile:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Strong skill set in the use of Office suite (Excel) (Word) (Outlook)
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP system (S4 preferred)
  • Data analysis collect organize and interpret data
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Experience in utilizing various software systems for sales Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Practical verbal and written communication skills

Environment and Behavioral Profile:

  • Must be able to interface with others at all levels from executive to hourly.
  • Anticipate changes assess the situation by stepping back identify conditions to implement solutions identify consequences and assess/analyze risks.
  • Agility in take the initiative move into action quickly once decisions are made adapt your working mode to take into account changes

Mobility and Physical Requirement Profile:

  • Rolebased in the United States (Barnwell SC Atlanta GA or Charlotte NC) No relocation provided
  • Travel up to 20
  • In office 34 days per week with potential for 12 days at home per week.
