Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Java Developer to join our dynamic team for the development of Point of Sale (POS) applications. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in Java JavaScript and Spring boot contributing to building innovative and efficient POS solutions that enhance customer experience and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain POS applications using Java technologies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes.
Excellent coding skills in Java with significant experience in React.js
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Proficiency in Rest API and SOAP API.
Experience with jdk 8 Maven or Gradle and the ability to navigate pom.xml or build.gradle files.
JavaScript skills including ES7 functional programming HTML and CSS.
Expertise in Spring Framework particularly Spring Boot 2.7.
Understanding of Docker and the build/deploy process.
Proficiency in ReactJS NextJS GraphQL DB and State management tools like Redux/Atom/Mobx.
Experience in PWA development with Service workers.
Familiarity with unit testing tools like Junit JEST and Cypress.
Knowledge of tools like SwaggerUI Postman Jira git and Bitbucket.
Basic knowledge of Hibernate and Design Patterns.
Strong experience in integrating frontend with backend services.
Handson experience with Agile/Scrum methodology using JIRA tool.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies languages and architectures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a clientfacing team environment.
Proven experience in developing Java with React Applications from scratch.
