Location: Broad Street Sheffield
Hybrid office 2 days per week
Full time & 16month fixed term contract
18000 per annum
Are you detailoriented analytical and eager to start a career in software testing Our Apprentice Tester role at SBS offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in quality assurance working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.
What Youll Be Doing:
As an Apprentice Tester you will play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. You will gain practical experience in:
- Participate in the quality assurance stage of the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and free from any bugs before it reaches endusers.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to log defects provide regular updates and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop an understanding of the software development lifecycle mastering techniques to analyse requirements design comprehensive test plans and execute a diverse array of test scenarios.
- Translate complex technical information into actionable insights effectively reporting on test progress and defects to drive continuous improvement.
Training and Support:
- You will work towards your Level 4 Software Tester Apprenticeship throughout the 16month programme.
