About Company: Our client is a renowned ISP company that provides customers with fast reliable and unlimited internet services at affordable rates across Nigeria.

The company is seeking to hire a Head of Finance who will be responsible for driving the financial planning and management of the organization. S/he will utilize analytical skills to manage finance operations and oversee financial reporting within the organization.

The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in driving financial planning managing finance operations and overseeing financial reporting within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Managing Director to drive commercial decisionmaking and business strategy.

Lead financial planning forecasting and sophisticated financial modeling to support growth.

Play a key role in the implementation of a new accounting system streamlining financial processes.

Coordinate the preparation process of the annual budget of the company and track actual vs budget.

Conduct indepth analysis to identify specific trends explain past performance and recommend opportunities for improvement within the group

Analyze budget implications for the company and advise management.

Participate in decisionmaking and its implementation in the company budget.

Manage the company s Financial Operations functions Fixed Assets Revenue Expenditure and General Ledger.

Coordinate the collation of financial plans and annual budgets for all operating companies that would support the achievement of the corporate strategy.

Oversee the performance of financial service providers and take steps to discontinue highrisk relationships.

Manage foreign exchange risk and interest rate exposures and escalate the same to management.

Management of the Company s Tax affairs

Provide operational support including maintaining the budget Profit and Loss accounts programs and contract analysis.

Implement finance policies as well as guarantee compliance with established internal controls of the organization

Processes Policies and Procedures and IFRS in processing all transactions.

Monitor annual audit of financial reports of the organization.

Review the budget from all Heads of Department in the group and prepare a consolidated report for the Management

Manage the accrual process and prepare detailed reports about discrepancies and amendments that occur in the budget during the financial year and other performance reports on a timely basis for relevant stakeholders.

Prepare periodic reports and presentations to the management. (These reports include the balance sheet cash flow and any other required report.

Prepare trend analysis of all general ledger transactions Accounts reconciliation as well as weekly and monthly performance reports

Requirements

B.Sc degree in Finance Accounting or any related field.

Minimum of 10 years in a fastgrowing environment and a consistent leadership position in the Finance/Treasury/Accounts function.

ACCA/ACA certification is mandatory. A master s Degree or an MBA is also highly desirable

Proficient user of finance software.

A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problemsolving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling and valuations).

Excellent Skills in Corporate Finance strategies methodologies and applications including generally accepted Audit Standards and principles and International Finance Reporting Standards.

Advanced analytical organization business development and strategic planning skills

Excellent policy and process design skills especially around implementing effective controls.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills
