Job Description
Lead Data Engineer with NV1 clearance (preferred)/Baseline clearance and ability to upgrade to NV1
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design and develop data integration solutions based on highlevel architecture leveraging Azure cloud data services such as ADLS SQL DB Synapse Data Lake and Blob Storage.

Develop complex ETL pipelines using SSIS and custom coding in C# .NET or VB.

Build and optimize Power BI solutions including stored procedures DAX functions and views.
-
Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure Event Hub to facilitate seamless data processing.
-
Implement version control and DevOps practices to enhance development workflows.
-
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and work with Big Data architectures.
-
Ensure compliance with government regulations policies and ethical considerations surrounding AI/ML technologies.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand government systems processes and data sources.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
3 years of handson experience in data development and integration.
-
Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts algorithms and techniques including supervised/unsupervised learning NLP anomaly detection and reinforcement learning.

Proven experience in AI/ML solution development and implementation preferably in a government environment.
-
Proficiency in Python Java or C and experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch scikitlearn.

Expertise in data preprocessing cleaning and visualization techniques.

Experience handling largescale datasets and working with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance or Baseline clearance with the ability to upgrade to NV1 with own expenses
