Job Description
- Data entry of invoices receipts and payments directly into Sage
- Bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Accounts payable and receivable processing including creating and sending invoices
- Posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Generating financial reports such as trial balances or profit and loss statements using Sage
- Expense tracking and categorization within Sage
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate records for audits and reporting
- Reviewing and approving financial entries done by junior staff or clerks in Sage
- Monitoring budget vs. actuals using reports pulled from Sage
- Overseeing monthend and yearend close processes in Sage
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Preparing financial reports for management or external stakeholders
Requirements
- 5 years professional accounting experience
- Fluent in Spanish
- Handson experience with Sage Accounting Software
- bachelors degree (or equivalent) in accounting or financerelated field
- Sage 50 experience
