ID Recruitment are recruiting a Production Trainer for a Medical Device manufacturing company located in Galway.
The Production Trainer will be responsible for tracking training development for new hires and existing employee including crosstraining. They will have shared responsibility for operators Electronic QMS knowledge process knowledge and ability to assemble complex Medical Devices. The successful candidate will also be responsible for recording/filling all training related documentation.
This role would suit a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to organise and execute training plans.
Duties include;
- Introduction development compliance and cross training of manufacturing personnel
- Establishing and maintaining training protocol focus on ensuring that individuals are fully trained
- Implement and maintain a training tracking system to be used to track training status facilitate operator s development and also allow cross training to improve flexibility across the production team
- For supporting training needs of the Manufacturing and solicit feedback on areas of improvement and work collaboratively to address training gaps
- Evaluating and developing training plans for new operators
- Ensure all employee training records are up to date
- Collaborating with Supervisor Leads and Quality to ensure procedures training requirements and work instructions are being regularly followed
- Facilitate handson evaluation to ensure performance accuracy and compliance to work instructions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a medical device environment with preferred experience as a trainer
- Ability to demonstrate a record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality quantity and dependability (attendance and punctuality)
- Good communication skills and proven ability to organize and execute training plans provided by leadership
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage training records within IFS system and training matrix
- Ability to work well with others and ability to work well on teams
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to work in an FDA or ISO regulated manufacturing or clean room environment
