4am12pm or until job is completed (Sunday is required)
All Full Time positions come with opportunity for extra earning potential with overtime.
The Role
Continually monitor machine operations to ensure accurate product measurements are maintained. Call maintenance or set up technicians as needed make minor machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy assist setup tech in premakerready activities maintain standard production rates low waste and meet all stated customer requirements complete all necessary documentation and reports set up and adjust rewinders; remove product from rewind machine and box for shipping weigh s from run and separate into bins performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Carry out production inspection packaging and machine operating duties
- High level of manual knife preparation of cut fruits and vegetables
- Use of high speed mechanical dicing and slicing equipment
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
- Effectively monitor production equipment
- Assist with food production as necessary
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean work space
- Follow established food and safety rules and regulations
- Use of high speed mechanical dicing and slicing equipment
Qualifications :
Desired Experience
- 1 year previous machine operation is preferred
- Ability to work in refrigerated environment 36 degree to 40 degree for extended time periods
- Ability to read speak/understand and take direction in basic English
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods (approximately 2 hour spans)
- General Food Safety knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
