Job Description:
Installs maintains configures upgrades &/or administers hardware &/or software independently in workstation support network administration server administration business continuity information security telecommunications & network connectivity & SAN administration (i.e. multiple technology domains) where technical work requires specific knowledge to evaluate select adapt & modify standard procedures; devises new approaches to problems encountered. Diagnoses analyzes & resolves issues for customer(s) across assigned multiple technology domains. Creates organizes files & maintains documentation.
Reviews & monitors enterprise security systems; takes appropriate action & responds to alarms/alerts per agency policy & procedure (e.g. antivirus spam).
Interfaces with other platforms from a hardware &/or software perspective. Develops scripting to automate ServiceDesk tasks.
Answers questions & presents informal mentorship opportunities to peers &/or lowerlevel staff via conversation observation or technical documentation
