Job Description

About the role

As a Vendor Contract Manager at Skanska you will be responsible for managing Skanskas central IT contracts providing a central point for all contractual queries changes and governance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the processes in the organization to ensure that Software and Service Providers adhere to all contract terms policies and procedures.

The job is located in Stockholm Sweden and you will report to Head of Vendor Management & Procurement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop implement and adjust contract administration strategies for the purpose of protecting Skanskas business interests in each contract.
  • Establish communicate and coordinate a formal contract change request process with Service Providers.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Service Provider queries related to specific contractual terms.
  • Assist the organization in ensuring compliance with agreed processes controls regulatory requirements and audit assessments throughout the contract life cycle.
  • Provide initial guidance on contract contents and refer appropriate queries to Procurement and Legal departments.
  • Manage cases of contract deviation through preapproved exception processes or escalation when necessary.
  • Track and assess all contract change requests; update and manage the contract change log.
  • Track and assess contract SLAs and ensure that appropriate actions are taken in case of noncompliance.
  • Maintain the integrity of the contract framework by limiting changes that deviate from its original intent.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls including security measures final invoice submissions and intellectual property requirements.
  • Mitigate risks associated with service provider contracts.
  • Align Service Provider procurement contracts with procurement policies to meet business needs.
  • Interface with relevant Skanska control functions to ensure policy adherence.

Is this you

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to take on a key role in contract negotiations and management. You are a team player with strong communication abilities both written and verbal and display strong commercial acumen. The role involves assessing and managing risks as well as developing effective conflict resolution strategies through solid negotiation methods. You are experienced in managing relationships with external vendors with a strong understanding of industryspecific dynamics particularly in relation to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

You have:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 58 years experience in IT change management or contract management roles within IT infrastructure & services.
