Our Group Treasury consists of the following teams: Investor Relations Captive Finance and Structured Finance.

AUTO1 Group is a leader in using ABS financing technology. In addition to our unique existing ABS programme for our used car inventory we are building a large captive finance business which we refinance in the ABS market including our debut public market transaction FinanceHero 20241. As we build the best way to buy and sell cars online we will also build the best ABS and captive finance business in the European car space.

This is a great opportunity for a young professional in the securitisation space to move to the issuer side. While you will have a better work life balance you will still have the excitement from being part in the growth and development of a key issuer in the European ABS space.

Our head quarter is in Berlin. We have some flexibility for remote working but you will be expected to be in Berlin at least for an initial onboarding period and subsequently be able to meet with colleagues on a regular basis in Berlin or London.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the daily and weekly reporting requirements for multiple ABS structures ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements

  • Data Analysis & Quality Control: Validate and reconcile transaction data cash flows and collateral pool performance metrics across various ABS programs

  • Process Improvement & Automation: Lead initiatives to automate and optimize ABS reporting processes reducing manual workload and enhancing efficiency

  • Investor & Regulatory Engagement: Serve as the primary reporting contact for investors rating agencies and regulatory bodies addressing inquiries and delivering periodic reports

  • Expansion & New Structures: Support the onboarding of new jurisdictions and public market transactions ensuring reporting frameworks align with evolving ABS structures

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of initialy 3 ABS reporting analysts fostering a culture of accuracy efficiency and continuous improvement

  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with treasury risk accounting and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and compliance with ABS reporting requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business or a related field

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in structured finance ABS reporting securitization or a related field preferably within a financial institution auto finance company or investment bank

  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in ABS reporting systems data analysis tools (SQL Power BI Tableau) and financial modeling in Excel. Experience with securitizationspecific software (e.g. Moodys ABS Suite S&P Global solutions) is a plus

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of ABS structures investor reporting requirements and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ESMA Securitization Regulations IFRS 9 STS framework). Prior experience of Italian Law 130 structures and related reporting to the Bank of Italy is a plus

  • Leadership Skills: Prior experience leading or mentoring a team with the ability to manage workload prioritization in a fastpaced environment

  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a meticulous approach to data integrity and reporting accuracy

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders investors and regulators

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; German and/or Italian is a plus
