Job Description
Provide technical expertise to an Operations team to manage the reliability performance scalability and security of the Coupa Cloud
Build upon the high standards of Coupa Cloud Operations through an automationfirst philosophy collective ownership and continuous learning
Develop strong relationships with Engineering Performance Support and Success teams to improve the reliability performance availability and security of the Coupa Cloud
Administer Windows servers in a massivescale public cloud environment
Develop new automation and administration tools
Deploy product releases and maintenance updates
Evaluate specify implement and support performance and availability monitoring tools
Participate in an oncall rotation as required
Requirements
Requirements
Will have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4 years of professional experience.
Strong experience with Terraform or adjacent tools such as Terragrunt Pulumi.
Strong automation development experience in Chef as a configuration management tool.
Strong experience with PowerShell language and toolmaking development
Strong experience in the Microsoft stack including Windows Server IIS Active Directory
Experience with GitOps workflows and coding principles
Experience with Artifact repositories deployment configuration and management.
Knowledge/Experience with GitHub actions/workflows
Has a solid understanding of networking systems and protocols
Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling (Jenkins Azure DevOps or equivalent)
Knowledge of massivescale public or private cloud operations automation orchestration and monitoring
Extensive knowledge of Cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS and/or Azure platforms
Will be confident in their ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolution
Excellent communication skills in English.

We are seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer who: Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 10+ years of professional experience, including experience in an enterprise SaaS organization. Possesses expert-level knowledge in Firewall, IDS/IPS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, AWS, and Azure network constructs. Has experience deploying physical network and security devices, as well as cloud networking solutions like web application firewalls. Demonstrates proficiency in coding with Python, Java, Ruby, or equivalent languages. Familiarity with deploying cloud network infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, or experience with Chef & Ansible. Exhibits confidence in project ownership and issue resolution. Has a passion for excellence, natural problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities. Possesses a solid understanding of networking systems and protocols, particularly in a public cloud environment. Thrives in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Desirable qualifications (not essential) include: Experience with monitoring technologies like Prometheus, Influx, Grafana, Elasticsearch, New Relic, Dynatrace or Datadog. Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS. Knowledge of databases like MySQL, MS-SQL, and NoSQL. Understanding of security and certificate management. Relevant operating system, networking, and cloud certifications.
