Description
Linfield University School of Nursing hires Adjunct Clinical Instructors for the prelicensure programs at various times throughout the year.
Adjunct clinical instructors teach face to face at clinical partner sites and oncampus in the simulation center (Experiential Learning Center).
We are seeking qualified applicants to teach in our clinical courses. Nursing program information can be reviewed here: https://www.linfield/academics/nursing/index.html
The School of Nursing has 3 prelicensure programs:
- Traditional BSN with classes in Fall and Spring 15week semesters: Fall is late August to midDecember; Spring is February to late May.
- Accelerated BSN with classes in accelerated 10week semesters; Accelerated calendar has 4 terms per year (Winter Spring Summer Fall.
- Masters Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) with classes in accelerated 10week semesters
Review of applicants is ongoing during these months:
- MarchApril for Summer term (classes from JuneAugust)
- MayJune for Fall term (classes from AugustDecember)
- NovemberDecember for Winter/Spring term (classes from JanuaryMay)

Clinical teaching sites may include the Portland metro area Salem area or Vancouver Washington.
Required Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license; Washington RN license for some assignments.
- Minimum two years of current nursing practice experience.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching using a variety of technologies
- Simulation education experience
- Masters degree in Nursing
