Job Description

SENCO Leading Secondary School Slough September Start

Location: Slough
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: L5L9
A committed and experienced SENCO is required for a leading secondary school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a school that is dedicated to providing excellent support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Your Role as SENCO:
Lead the SEN department and manage a team of teaching assistants and support staff.
Oversee the development and implementation of IEPs and support strategies for students with SEN.
Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that SEN provision is embedded across the curriculum.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN providing regular reports to parents and stakeholders.
Ensure the school complies with all legal and regulatory requirements related to SEN.

Who Were Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS and a postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (e.g. NASENCO).
Significant experience working in an SEN role with a proven track record of improving outcomes for students with SEN.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students parents and staff.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
