Job Description

Job Title:Director of Assets

Location: Aberdeen UK

Beam is driving the renewable energy revolution and were looking for a visionary Director of Assets to lead and optimise our asset operations. This highimpact role is your opportunity to shape and execute a longterm strategy for offshore support vessels ROVs AUVs/ASVs and hydrographic survey equipment. Youll lead crossfunctional teams enhance operational performance and play a key role in enabling worldclass offshore wind and marine projects.

This role is ideal if you thrive on operational excellence are commercially astute and passionate about applying innovative asset management practices in a highgrowth technologydriven environment. Your influence will extend across Beam from shaping procurement strategies to ensuring maximum uptime compliance and utilisation of assets.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

At Beam your responsibilities will grow as we scale. Upon joining your milestones will include:

30 Days: Build strong relationships with project and operational stakeholders and enhance collaboration across assetdependent teams.

60 Days: Review assess and begin planning improvements to asset scheduling maintenance and utilisation processes.

90 Days: Implement structured asset tracking and reporting systems and begin shaping Beams longterm asset procurement and maintenance strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of an asset management strategy aligned with company growth goals.
  • Optimise deployment and scheduling of vessels and equipment to maximise utilisation and reduce downtime.
  • Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance to improve asset reliability and lifecycle.
  • Develop KPI frameworks to measure performance drive efficiencies and improve project margins.
  • Manage procurement and logistics of critical offshore assets ensuring costeffective and timely acquisition.
  • Establish and oversee warehousing logistics and goods in/out processes.
  • Drive compliance with HSE standards marine regulations and offshore asset management best practices.
  • Work closely with the executive team to shape vessel strategy chartering and maintenance planning.
  • Manage budgets identify costsaving opportunities and provide financial analysis on asset performance.
  • Build and develop a highperforming collaborative asset management team.

    • Extensive experience managing subsea and offshore assets ideally including ROVs AUVs/ASVs survey equipment and DP2 vessels.
    • A proven track record in building scalable effective asset management functions.
    • Deep understanding of offshore asset operations safety compliance and technical standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute asset strategies aligned with business needs.
    • Strong commercial and financial awareness with experience managing P&L or departmental budgets.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence across functions and build trust.
    • Experience working with an integrated management system such as(ISO
