Looking to take the next step in your career Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Teamcenter Administrator/Implementation Specialist to join the Digital group in Mississauga.

Based in Mississauga Ontario you will be required to support the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter and the ongoing use of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool and its associated business approach. Working closely with the Solid Edge Administrator Projects and Engineering management Product Development and IT teams to manage its strategic use. We are looking for a technically competent task oriented selfstarter with excellent communication skills as the role requires you to actualize out PLM vision embrace it as your own and effectively coordinate and mentor all members of the business practice in Teamcenter usage. Providing support to the design team to complete their work and successfully achieve Product delivery and Project milestones.
In this role you will be a part of the Teamcenter Implementation team in Technologies. The migration to Teamcenter is a multiphase multiyear strategic plan. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Teamcenter. You will also provide guidance for other related applications such as Solid Edge and our various CAD/CAE applications as well as other related platforms such as SharePoint.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Administer and coordinate Teamcenter related activities in all environments Development QA & Production.
- Evaluate shortterm to longterm priorities and develop actionable plans
- Collaborate with internal partners solution vendors and end users to identify business requirements and translate these into use cases configuration requirements design office policies and solutions.
- Assist in defining the business application roadmaps standards and best practices as they relate to the Technologies business practice and Vision 2025
- Coordinate and perform upgrades new installs and software patches with the appropriate IT representatives and solution vendors.
- Mentor and educate design teams and design coordinators on application requirements and best practices
- Work closely with IT Solution Architects Engineers and Designers in the roll out and implementation of Teamcenter for both current and future phases
- Assist in the development of use cases and test plans
- Understand the user requirements and align DPD project and business objectives
- Administration of the PLM environment
- Coordinate and administer the configuration of the Teamcenter environment and associated databases
- Add new product classifications as required
- Create workflows and processes within Teamcenter to support the release of engineering documents
- Software deployment and documentation creation
- Manage security and permissions coordinate licensing and organization structure.
- Monitor system regularly; ensure that the Teamcenter services on the server machines are operating as expected.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans adhering to the acceptance criteria as written and committed to.
- Ensure that each new release meets the performance requirements and aligns with current and planned CAD/CAE application releases.
- Be involved with all technical activities as it applies to Teamcenter
- Advise on risk and order of feature rollout with the overall goal of delivering valuable working software to production in a continuous release framework.
- Communicate open items and issues to key partners including management and architecture teams
- Continuously evaluate and implement new application features to maximize engineering design efficiencies
- Projects and Engineering Coordination
- Coordination of project specific jobnotes and production systems setup
- Coordination of design teams located in different offices to contribute to overall success in the implementation of Teamcenter
- Plan and coordinate approach to legacy product/project data.
- Create reference materials and training documents to communicate and reinforce PLM processes and standards.
You bring to the role:
- The ability to work independently and in a team while being flexible selfmotivated curious and willing to revolutionize the world of consultant engineering as it relates to Product design and supply.
- Proficiency with using 2D and 3D CAD systems. Preferably Solid Edge.
- Demonstrated experience to interpret user stories and acceptance criteria and break them into testable features.
- Experience with database and software configuration management; software quality assurance methodologies
- Experience building and supporting critical applications running in a highly distributed manner
- Experience building consensus across teams and working within teams in disparate geographic locations
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as MS Word Outlook Excel Teams and SharePoint.
- Programming experience using ITK functions C/C and Java languages
- Good interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities including the ability to communicate with different levels of partners from different parts of the world
- The ability to be a selfstarter organized and need minimal supervision
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as part of a global team
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education training or work experience
Working knowledge and experience in the following technologies is considered an asset:
- Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D equipment modelling using Solid Edge.
- Design and drafting of mechanical models using applicable standards project technical specifications and internal procedures.
- Previous experience or understanding of ERP systems relating to Engineering Procurement and Finance.
