If yes I have an ONSITE Sr. Systems Administrator opportunity near Irving TX for an organization thats a privately held leader in travel safety technology. This is more than just a jobits an opportunity to be part of an organization that saves lives through cuttingedge technology.
In this collaborative casual and growthoriented environment youll lead a team of talented administrators and engineers providing strategic direction while remaining handson with the technology. Your role:
Lead the planning and design of systems infrastructure monitor performance and suggest improvements.
Set up configure and maintain IT systems including SANs servers firewalls hypervisors and data protection appliances.
Provide leadership and guidance to other administrators and engineers ensuring that IT systems are operating at peak efficiency.
Manage the provisioning of new servers maintain internal IT documentation and assist in creating a technical knowledge base.
Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues support backup infrastructure and contribute to continuous system improvements.
Report on network and IT service performance maintain technical knowledge through training and provide emergency oncall support on a rotating schedule.
What youll need:
Over 10 years of experience in systems/network administration on Windows Server platforms.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft operating systems the MS Office Suite and intermediate knowledge of network design.
Strong experience with Linux Windows WAN/LAN Exchange Office365 Active Directory VOIP and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
Proven ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
