Job Description
Visas Cybersecurity team is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer who will be responsible for design development and of largescale Cybersecurity initiatives. Extensive Python and web service development experience and team leadership skills are a must. In this position you are a passionate and talented cybersecurity professional with problemsolving abilities and coding/testing/debugging skills who can work in a dynamic environment.
Essential Functions:
Develop innovative solutions to protect the Visa brand networks assets and products by implementing statetheart detection prevention and response capabilities
Engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements
Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies designs and solutions
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization
Demonstrate technical mastery and be an inspirational leader and mentor who continuously develops the competencies of him/herself and others
Reduce timetodetect and timetoremediate by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment
Develop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree in computer
science or cyber security or at least 2 years of work experience with an
Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience
with a PhD OR 8 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience in public cloud platforms (AWS Azure
etc)with a Bachelors Degree in computer science or information security or 4
or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters
MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Strong Domain exposure of Cloud Security in multi cloud enterprise
environment: AWS or GCP or Azure. Expert level certification in 1 or more of
platforms is a must. Multiyear experience Engineering and supporting
migrating applications to cloud and implementing security controls in the
cloud.
Knowledge and hands on experience for designing and implementing new
controls based on gap and requirement.
Ability to independently conduct POC of new technology solutions take
ownership of implementation.
Assist in development of cost and timelines estimates in introduction of new
security controls and projects.
Hands on usage of CSPM and CNAAP tools and process development to
ensure addressing vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Experience with
continuous compliance in cloud.
Knowledge and hands on experience with infrastructure as code terraform
CICD
Knowledge of multiple security domain like Cloud FW Security Groups DDOS
Network Proxy Cloud SIEM like Sumo logic etc.
Strong leadership and communication skills
proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems Expert level knowledge of
Python
In depth understanding of Internet protocols
