Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rooms to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. As a key member of our executive leadership you will oversee the entire rooms division including front office and housekeeping operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
- Lead and manage the front office and housekeeping teams fostering a culture of superior guest service and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize room revenue occupancy rates and guest satisfaction
- Oversee the rooms division budget including forecasting cost control and profit maximization
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for all rooms division departments
- Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
- Spearhead innovative projects and initiatives to enhance guest services and streamline operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and security regulations
- Mentor coach and develop team members to build a highperforming motivated workforce
- Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives within the rooms division to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency
- Conduct regular property tours and inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Develop and manage crisis response protocols for the rooms division ensuring guest and staff safety in emergency situations
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements implementing innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as Director of Rooms with at least 3 years in a senior management role
- Proven track record of successfully managing rooms division operations in upscale or luxury hotels
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
- Outstanding problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
