Our client is a leading finance company in Vietnam who is looking for qualified talent to join their firm:
1. Management and Task Coordination:
  • Develop and guide the implementation of application development plans. Supervise assign and review work to ensure highquality application operation aligning with the IT application strategy and overall goals.
  • Identify and assess emerging technology trends relevant to the company updating the technology roadmap and standards accordingly.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and development strategies using this insight to inform the development of IT application solutions for the company.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to build a cohesive IT application development strategy that supports the companys overall objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support for the implementation of investment projects and the development of technology solutions across the company.
2. Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify and selfassess departmental risks developing and implementing mitigation plans in collaboration with relevant units.
  • Ensure all departmental activities adhere to company policies regulations processes and internal guidelines maintaining a commitment to service level agreements.
3. Other Tasks:
  • Establish application solution standards to guide the development of sustainable flexible and efficient technology solutions.
  • Participate in the creation of policies regulations processes and guidelines related to application solution development.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer.
  • Lead and encourage subordinates to actively participate in building the companys corporate culture.
4. People Management:
  • Oversee human resources planning and including managing headcount and costs for the function/subfunction.
  • Attract onboard and retain top talent to build a highperforming team.
  • Establish and communicate clear KRAs/KPIs goals action plans expectations and results to direct reports. Regularly manage performance and provide feedback using the annual performance management cycle.
  • Define the teams capability requirements and facilitate professional and personal development through assessments training coaching mentoring and feedback.
  • Motivate and recognize team members for their contributions to shared goals.
  • Actively develop talent within the function/subfunction.
  • Serve as a role model and promote corporate culture at the function/subfunction level.
  • Understand and communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.


Requirements

  • A university degree or higher in a relevant field such as finance economics banking business administration or computer science is required.
  • Must have at least 12 years of experience in Software Engineering including 7 years in a leadership role managing software engineering teams that build customerfacing software applications.
  • Experience in managing a team of more than 20 people.
  • A solid understanding of application systems used in the operation of a bank is preferred.
  • English proficiency.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment are essential.
  • Must have a solid understanding of software engineering principles including scalable design patterns security and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements management which is crucial in software development especially in finance
