Job Description
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful information. For example youll create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis. Overall youll strive for efficiency by aligning data with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and organize raw data
- Build data systems and pipelines
- Evaluate business needs and objectives
- Interpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
- Combine raw information from different sources
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Develop analytical tools and programs
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several missions
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Previous experience as a data engineer
- Knowledge in AWS
- Technical expertise with data models data mining and segmentation techniques
- Proven experience of programming languages (e.g. Java or Python)
- Proven experience with SQL database design
- Strong knowledge and proven experience with ETL processes
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent command of written read and spoken English
