The Guidance Center (TGC) operates as the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic catering to Leavenworth Atchison and Jefferson counties in Kansas. Responsibilities
- Verify the eligibility authorizations and benefits of individuals seeking services through insurance portals or phone communication with insurance providers and thirdparty payers
- Accurately and promptly input benefit details into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for new and existing service seekers
- Keep service seekers informed on benefits verification updates and financial responsibility
Qualifications
- Essential requirements include a high school diploma and a minimum of two years experience in a healthcare setting involving insurance verification clerical duties or billing responsibilities
- Preferred: Completion of college coursework
