- Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver qualityaccurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of mechanical engineering and thebasic requirements of other engineering fields.
- A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory andregulatory specifications
- Has experience in the oil/gas hydrocarbon refinery offshore or infrastructure industries and has construction engineering experience on large projects.
- Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices economic principles international codes and standards procedures and specifications.

- Perform Mechanical construction activities as per drawings specifications and project documents in accordance with the project field procedures.
- Analysis verify data and progress reports in accordance with project schedule.
- Oversee and manage Mechanical construction works from conception to completion.
- Prepare construction engineering strategy plans foresee and forecast work progression.
- Maintain focus on HSE policy and Quality Standards.
- Provide the working interface between construction and engineering to maintain compliance with plans and specifications and use of economical construction methods.
- Should be conversant with local codes and conducts.
- Supervise test and checkout completed facilities for turnover to the client.
- Supervise surveyors inspectors engineers and inspect construction works progress:
- Report to Senior Construction manager and the Project management team daily.
- Develop and attend Weekly construction management meetings with all subcontractors and
- management teams at site to report progress issues and schedule amendments.
- Develops contingency and recovery plans as required.
- knowledge of construction techniques and equipment in order to develop
- strategies and manage overall quality and efficient daily production of equipment.
- Develop solutions to complex problems that require a significant degree of innovation andingenuity.
- Develops procedures as needed.
- Functions as liaison between multiple project managers construction and contractors.
- Provides constructability input and construction planning.
- Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that personnel comply with
- established safety policies and procedures and has front line responsibility for providing asafe work environment.
- Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progressagainst established schedules and issue progress reports as required.
- Plans coordinates and directs the construction work and Construction Subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates.
- Prepares the construction plan to ensure the efficiency quality safety and performance of construction to meet project objectives.
