The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional handson experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. Werfen hires students majoring in Engineering and Life Sciences fields into this internship program based on business need. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problemsolving abilities.
Responsibilities
Position Description
- Participate in product design development verification troubleshooting and delivery of portions of system major subsystems or tools.
- Create endtoend computing solutions for edge and cloud environments using industry standard software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Digital Solution Team and participate in daily stand ups and meetings.
- Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a fastpaced development team with clear positive and constructive communication.
- Assist test automation development by converting functional requirements into Gherkin tests
- Improve test coverage reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation.
Key Attributes
- Requires enthusiasm motivation initiative and ability to work within an interactive and energetic workplace.
- Excited to work effectively in a collaborative agile environment
- Clear communicator you are concise and articulate in speech and writing
- Have experience and interest in some (not all) of the following: AWS Java Angular Machine Learning Agile Environment Python and DevOps Test Automation .
- Awareness and familiarity with industry automation testing tools frameworks trends and best practices.
- Experience reading and writing code in a programming language
- Experience working collaboratively towards project goals and deadlines.
- Java/Pyton development experience
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- Currently pursuing B.S. in Engineering Finance Business Marketing with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete.
- Ability to multitask.
