The Opportunity
If you enjoy working with seniors and are well organized we want to hear from you. We expect our staff to be creative passionate and friendly with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Maintain hair station cleanliness/ hygienic procedures and ensure all safety standards are met
- Provide consistent quality
- Maintain appointments
Requirements:
- Must have a Nova Scotia hair license
- 23 years experience with seniors preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to complete perms and provide coloring
- Energetic outgoing personality
License/Certification:
- Current membership with The Cosmetology Association of NS
- Must be currently licensed as a general hairdresser
- Must provide proof of insurance
Rental Fees: The provider shall pay a biweekly rental fee of 15 of gross sales for the rental space utilities and cleaning services provided by The Mira.
Responsible for:
- Own income tax
- One day a week schedule
- There is no cost to the facility for WCB benefits sick time or vacation
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
