We pride ourselves on our flexibility and responsiveness to the evolving needs of our valued clients. nn**Roles & Responsibilities** nAs a Database Administrator with sales skills you will play a pivotal role in managing our database systems while also leveraging your sales abilities to promote our technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include: n Designing implementing and maintaining database systems to ensure their integrity and security. n Monitoring database performance and optimizing queries for improved efficiency. n Collaborating with development teams to support application design and data needs. n Liaising with clients to understand their data requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly. n Conducting capacity planning backups and recovery procedures. n Utilizing sales skills to identify new business opportunities and assist in customer engagement efforts. n Providing technical support and training to clients and team members. nn**Mandatory Requirements** nTo be successful in this role candidates must meet the following requirements: n Proven experience as a Database Administrator. n Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle. n Strong understanding of database design and data modeling concepts. n Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures. n Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as SQL or Python. n Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail. n Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions. nn**Preferred Skills or Education Requirements** nWhile not mandatory the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: n Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. n Experience in sales or clientfacing roles. n Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools. n Certification in database management (e.g. Oracle DBA Microsoft SQL Server Certification). n Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment. n Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
