Job Description

Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Suffolk

Salary:

Working Hours: Fulltime

Service: Specialist Education

Service Users: Pupils aged 719 with SEMH Autism ADHD and communication difficulties

Qualifications Required: Teaching qualification (QTS PGCE or equivalent) with a specialism in Science

Experience in Years Required: Experience in teaching Science at various levels including GCSE is desirable

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to join our team at our new independent day school. You will be instrumental in shaping the schools development and fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This role requires an individual who can:

  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils.
  • Deliver an engaging Science curriculum spanning Entry Level Functional Skills Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Motivate and inspire children to learn through creative and dynamic teaching methods.
  • Manage complex and challenging behaviours with a traumainformed and nonjudgemental approach.
  • Contribute to decisionmaking curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
