Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of R&D experience leading engineering/applied research/ML experiences in search natural language processing/understanding. Conversational AI.
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science Machine Learning with a specialty in reinforcement learning or a related field
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in the field of information retrieval machine learning natural language processing and understanding and in particular reinforcement learningbased posttraining on LLM models reward modeling RLHF RLAIF Chainofthought and agentic AI R&D.
- Strong product intuition and ownership
- Excellent communication skills
- Growth mindset and ability to learn new technologies

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $293300 and $468500 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
