Job Description

The role of HRGA (Human Resources and General Affairs) is a multifaceted one combining the responsibilities of human resources management with general administrative duties. Heres a breakdown of the key aspects:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources (HR) Functions:
    • Recruitment and Selection: Managing the hiring process from posting job openings to interviewing and onboarding new employees.
    • Employee Relations: Handling employee grievances fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
    • Compensation and Benefits: Administering payroll managing employee benefits (insurance etc. and ensuring competitive compensation packages.
    • Training and Development: Organizing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Performance Management: Implementing performance evaluation systems and providing feedback to employees.
    • HR Policies and Procedures: Developing and implementing HR policies and ensuring they are uptodate.
  • General Affairs (GA) Functions:
    • Office Management: Overseeing office maintenance supplies and equipment.
    • Facility Management: Ensuring the workplace is safe clean and functional.
    • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with vendors for office supplies maintenance and other services.
    • Asset Management: Maintaining records of company assets and ensuring their proper maintenance.
    • Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and permits.
    • Administration: Handling administrative tasks such as managing documents and processing paperwork.

Qualifications :

The following qualifications are essential for this critical role:

  1. Education: A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is mandatory. Advanced degrees in relevant fields will be viewed favorably.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of substantive experience in Human Resources and General Affairs is required. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of success in similar roles.
  3. Language Proficiency:
  • English: Candidates must possess superior English language skills both written and verbal. The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively is crucial.
  • Additional Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages is highly valued and may be considered a significant advantage for this position.
