Leidos Defense Systems Land Systems Division is seeking an Ordinance Test and Support Technician to join our team in Huntsville AL supporting the U.S. Army in collecting data from ordnance tests. Responsibilities include data collection and evaluation of ordnance debris setup of test sites posttest data collection and documentation. Candidate will work closely with engineers and other technicians to qualify ordnance performance metrics and perform data collection responsibilities. Candidate will work with customers on customer site supporting a variety of Army Ordnance Projects. The position requires good communication skills working well on a team with diverse skillsets working on fast paced environment and willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.

Primary Responsibilities
Support in test preparation planning and
Data collection and analysis from ordnance testing
Test preparation and setup for ordnance testing
Submitting test collection and data analysis reports
Other ordinance support tasks as defined by the branch manager / chief engineer
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL area
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
Ability to lift 35 pounds multiple times during shift
Detail oriented for data collection and documentation
Experience operating test measurement and analysis hardware
Experience in MS based applications such as Excel Word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Typically requires a BS degree in engineering with 4 years of prior relevant experience OR a masters degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
Experience working with ordinance items
Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85150.00 $153925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
