Job Description
The Buffalo Grove Park District is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks Department Laborer. This employee will work an average of 40 hours per week. This is a parttime seasonal position. This position is available from May September. Hours are 6:30 am to 3 pm MondayFriday.
Qualifications:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Experience in park maintenance or related field
- Must be at least 18 years old
Duties:
- Performs daily park maintenance and site cleanup.
- Observes and reports safety issues and maintenance issues.
- Operates vehicles and equipment.
- Perform daily safety check on hand tools equipment and vehicles.
- Interacts with the general public and collaborates with coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate:$16 $21 per hour depending on experience
